The Model ALF L-Style Water Hammer Arrestor, also known as a Pulsation Dampener, is designed to absorb hydraulic shock caused when water flow in a piping system is suddenly stopped by fast-closing valves or equipment.
Uncontrolled water hammer can lead to loud banging noises, pipe vibration, leakage, or even damage to pumps and valves. The L-Style design allows the device to integrate smoothly into pipeline layouts, making it both functional and aesthetically suitable for industrial and commercial systems.
The ALF model is typically installed at pipeline corners, especially near check valves or on/off valve.

The ALF model features a Rubber Air Chamber that absorbs sudden pulse momentum caused by water hammer effect. This chamber cushions the pressure surge, effectively reducing shocks, vibration, and noise within the pipeline.
The adjustable airbag pressure allows fine-tuning of the arrestor for different system conditions, ensuring long-term stability and protection.
In a Taiwan water treatment plant, the client requirement reduce water hammer effect and protect pipelines in the water treatment system.
The AIF model L-Style Water Hammer Arrester was selected for this project to stabilize the critical distribution pipelines. By absorbing sudden pressure surges, it helped:
This case highlights how the L-Style design is ideal for utility-scale infrastructure projects.
The ALF model is suitable for industrial, commercial, and municipal pipeline systems that face sudden pressure surges.
The air chamber compresses when a pressure surge occurs, absorbing the momentum and preventing it from damaging the piping.
Yes. The ALF model is designed for both vertical and horizontal mounting, offering maximum installation flexibility.
The L-Style is best suited for corners and integrated layouts where a compact, inline design is required.
